Spring and Fall are times of the year for fresh salads from the garden. Lettuces, sprouts, spinach, kale, and Asian greens are a few greens that make a tasty salad. Your raw vegetables give lots of nutrition and flavor to your meal. We all know that antioxidants in our diet help to make a healthier body. An alkaline body is less prone to support disease. I don’t know about you but that’s enough incentive to make me want to eat more veggies even if they weren’t my favorite food, but I have to say that I really like them anyways!
