Fermented foods are preserved using an age-old process that not only boosts the food’s shelf life and nutritional value but can give your body a dose of healthful probiotics — live microorganisms crucial to good digestion. It is a fermented food that helps you to keep a healthy gut or to heal an unhealthy gut.
In this class, you will see a hands-on demonstration of how to ferment different foods. Come and learn from Teresa Brown and Judy Cunningham, . They have been fermenting foods for years. Bring your questions and try some samples.
Everybody will take home a jar of fermented vegetables that you will start in Class. The cost of the class is $ 35. Register ahead so that we can have enough supplies and handouts.
