Eating enough greens is not something that all of us do on a daily basis. We may eat plenty sometimes but may not take the time every day to prepare what we need. Remember that greens give your body lots of vitamins and minerals and besides that they can just make you feel good.
One way that we can be sure that we are getting enough greens in our diet is to use them in green smoothies. What you need: You need to have a blender. I have a Vitamix, which is a 2 hp blender that will grind up pretty much anything that you put in it. But whatever you have that will grind the veggies up enough to make your smoothie will work, no need to invest in anything else. Just be sure that you always add your liquid and greens first and blend them and then add your fruit and blend again.
The best way to insure that you will like it to start with is to add a little more fruit to blend with your greens. After you get used to the taste of the greens you can cut back on the fruits and have it more concentrated with the greens.
