Spinach and Bacon Quiche
Tired of the same old breakfast. It’s the season for spinach and when you add it to the always favorite bacon you’ve got a superstar breakfast.
Spinach & Bacon Quiche
Ingredients:
3/4 # bacon
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
salt & pepper to taste
2 dashes worcestershire sauce
Hot pepper sauce to taste
10 oz spinach, steamed, drained and squeezed dry
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Brown your bacon, and after cooled chop into small pieces. In bowl put beaten eggs, cream, salt & pepper, worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce and whisk together. When tomatoes are in season cherry tomatoes are a welcome addition to add.
In bottom of greased deep pie dish layer spinach, bacon, cheddar cheese, onion and top with egg mixture. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Bake in a 375 degree preheated oven until the eggs are set.
